Building on the Creative Consultation research findings and inspired by the artworks of the children and young people consulted, the Cultural Connectors will develop their own ideas and commission a series of artworks and public interventions.
The commissions will include:
- A Young Peopleās Manifesto and Map to be adopted by Southampton City Councilās āChild-Friendly Southamptonā policy, helping to create a cultural programme that reflects the needs of children and young people.
- A series of ambitious and high-quality artworks to be developed across arts venues, the public realm and online. The artworks will span performance, writing, visual arts, digital content and young people-focused broadcast for community radio stations.
